Poor level of cleanliness bitten in bed bathroom poor need modernising services non existent miles away from anywhere. Won't recommend anyone to stay here
I‘d not recommend staying here!
Here a list why:
- the room was dirty. when we claimed that they told us that they cleaned it again but it was exactly the same
- the room itself smelled very bad and also the shower stunk
- the wifi did not work in the room even though we claimed in advanced that this is important and the confirmed that it works properly
- the whole hotel and area is verd old and run down
- the tables at the breakfast where dirty and the food really did not look appetizing
- also how they treated us as guests felt like they don‘t need us there
Lovely place. Staff are friendly and always polite. Food is excellent and wines are very good.
We stayed one night on our way to Rome. They gave us a large room for a cheap price. Breakfast was buffet style, good quality. Everything was clean and elegant. We weeks lucky that it was October - the place was almost deserted so we had it all for ourselves.

Gold, not excellent
The structure is large and beautiful but the service unfortunately is not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel. Mediocre breakfast, terrible customer information (it seems they don't know how to reach the beach with which they have an agreement or how to get to the archaeological excavations of Paestum). The structure is isolated and Paestum is not served by public transport or a sharing service. The hotel does not provide any assistance other than some rickety bikes. There is a neglected swimming pool. The hotel water is not drinkable and they don't warn you. I strongly advise against it if you don't come with your own transport.
